Structural Epoxy Resins - pour directly or into a 1 litre cartridge tube for injection - e.g. concrete or timber holes or cracks

A three part, (two liquids and a powder) thick pouring resin. The thickness can be modified by varying the amount of powder used. Mix using a mixing paddle in an electric drill. A two part, (two gels) thick injection, bonding and laminating resin. Mix using a pallet knife, by hand. For laminating and bonding materials together. In conjunction with a Cartridge Tube kit, for injecting into slots and holes and, in combination with reinforcement rods, for structural repair of timber and masonry, including concrete. Also used as an anchor resin, to bond rods, studs, bolts and reinforcement into masonry and concrete.

Usage rate - by volume - 1 litre will fill a void 100mm x 100mm x 100mm (4" x 4" x 4"). A 400cc pack will fill a hole 25mm in diameter to a depth of 800mm. Extension tubes are available, made to order, to reach the base of any hole depth and in varying diameters.

Usage rate - 280cc will fill a 10mm x 100mm slot for a length of 280mm (a typical 'stitch' repair would be 225mm long).

Joist Repair - end plates and splice plates

Joist End Repair Plates (also known as Bower Beams) are supplied as pairs of galvanised steel plates, pre-drilled, to be fixed with Coach Screws (included). The plates rest in or on the wall and allow for the rotted end to be cut off.

For use in rows of continuous end repairs, with no sound joist ends between, always add a bolt and nut set, comprising two bolts, two nuts and two washers, 10mm diameter, through the plates into the parent joist, to give additional stiffness.

For use in splicing two joist pieces together always add two bolt and nut sets, comprising four bolts, four nuts and eight washers, 10mm diameter, through the plates into the parent joists, to give additional stiffness.
