1.
Remove the source of moisture, ventilate, control humidity
2.
Cut out the decay to sound timber
3.
Apply Boron Ultra 12 by spray to timber, Boron Ultra Gel to end
grain and vulnerable surfaces and Boron Ultra Paste to 8-10mm diameter
holes drilled to prescribed hole pattern, to surrounding areas at least 300mm
in all directions from the limits of the attack and to all timbers at or above
18% moisture content.

How
to treat House Longhorn Beetle
1.
Tap with a hammer or listen with a piece of tubing to establish the exact areas
under attack.
2.
Cut out any eaten or damaged areas to sound timber.
3.
Inject Ultra Timber Paste into 8-10mm diameter holes drilled to prescribed
hole pattern, and brush apply Ultra Timber Paste to all exposed uncoated
surfaces.

How
to treat Timber Mould in roofs and under the ground floor
1.
Check the roof ventilation, particularly soffit vents, ridge vents and vent tiles/slate
- they may be blocked by Insulation
2.
Check the sub-floor ventilation - air bricks should be visible above ground and
may need cleaning or adding
3.
Treat the Mould with two coats of Boracol 5RH by spray or brush.

How
to treat Chemical Stains on Roof Timbers - Lime or salts
1.
Check for water leaks or gaps in tiles, slates or roofing felt - check ventilation
and look for water stains
2.
Clean the timbers thoroughly to remove all sand, cement or earth deposits - check
for physical damage with a screwdriver
3.
Treat affected areas with Salt Neutraliser by spray or brush.
